Bethany Grannan, Student Midwife
Bethany began her career as a certified nurse’s assistant in 2002 and soon graduated as a licensed practical nurse in 2005. She worked in a variety of healthcare settings until she gave birth to her first son in 2011. His birth included an unplanned cesarean section and served as a catalyst for change in Bethany’s life.
While preparing for her next baby, she and her husband became educated in all things birth and were elated to welcome their second son, naturally, via VBAC (vaginal birth after cesarean) in 2014.
Bethany became a certified Bradley Method Childbirth Instructor and doula later that year and has had the pleasure of serving families in that capacity until she enrolled in midwifery school in January of 2020.
Bethany has a heart for teaching and loves spending time with her clients, helping them navigate through their choices in pregnancy and birth.
She and her husband Travis live in Flower Mound with their two sons, two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels and one fat cat.
